BEA / Dalhousie Math Camp
For Grade 7/8 Students
Dalhousie University and the Black Educators Association have teamed up to develop an exciting program. A five day math/science camp will be help during the month of July at Dalhousie University.
Participants: Thirty (30) girls and boys, ages 13 to 15, who show promise in Math will be invited to attend this camp. Participants will live on campus during the week, and will be provided with meals.
The Program: The program will emphasize problem-solving skills and applications of mathematics to common everyday living. Instructors are chosen from the public school system, the universities, and the professional community.
